Celestial Rust - Finnabair Creative Team

The base of this small assemblage is a wooden tray that actually used to be a cheese packaging...
You can find quite unusual art materials being an upcycling lover, don’t you think?

I started with applying a thick coat of Modeling Paste onto the tray’s surface. Its sticky consistency perfectly grabbed a spoonful of both sorts of Art Stones – these tiny and bigger ones. Modeling Paste may also serve as a great adhesive – a trio of washers from the Mechanicals collection was firmly attached to its place. Then I fixed two rusty stars to the tray’s edges.

When the composition was dry, it was painted with Brass and Copper Art Alchemy Paints. I also enhanced the dimensional effect with light hand brush strokes in Blueberry and Navy shades.

In the meantime I boosted the textural effect by adding a pinch of Micro Beads around the washers. I glued down some astrology related graphics underneath Art Pebbles and attached them to the Mechanicals thanks to Heavy Body Gel. My celestial work was ready!
Don't miss more project from Finn's Team on Prima blog!
